Do u love urself ? (2)

"The thing is, at the end of the day you still have to face yourself."
~
Dave Pelzer

Its midnight,

A day’s worth of work has been accomplished,

People have been pleased,

Smiles have been shared,

Yet something is missing...

You lay there,

Looking futilely,

For a reason,

A reason for why you sense hollowness,

Hollowness in your soul...

Soul?

Your essence...

You start exploring reasons for such hollowness,

Does it signify lonesomeness?

A part of your heart which has been abandoned?

Or maybe just an illusion?

A day’s worth of work has been accomplished,

People have been pleased,

Smiles have been shared,

But...

What has one done for himself?

  3. Lord AymZ: Not necessarily, at times u give and don't receive, so there comes a stage where u need more to feel satisfied than just satisfying others

    q8othug: why not?

  4. u know what they say, it is better to give than to receive.

+ in the Japanese culture, they frown on gift-giving. as it must be reciprocated, and alot of thought goes into the gift, timing, value, wrapping etc.

    heres the million dollar question:

    do u love urself?

i kno i do, i stand infront of the mirror and confess it every chance i get :P
